Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KOs) will look to rebuild his career when he takes Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 22 KOs) on Saturday at Cotai Arena in Macau.

Pacquiao, 34, will attempt to prove that he still has what it takes to compete on an upper echelon level after he was knocked out 11 months ago by Juan Manuel Marquez, which led some to think that his retirement was near.

The Filipino boxer is coming off back-to-back losses, including a controversial split decision defeat to the likes of Timothy Bradley in June 2012.

"I lost. My next fight, I'm not thinking I'm scared because I'm going to get hit again. No, I'm not thinking about that," Pacquiao stated in a HBO video series prior to his upcoming bout.

While Rios, who's also known as "Bam-Bam," has only been beaten once, there are critics out there who feel as though his straight-ahead style is one that work to Pacquiao's advantage.

However, Rios begs to differ on that opinion.

"It's okay, there's always going to be criticism out there, there is criticism for everything I do. It actually motivates me even more. And it gives me the (motivation) to prove everybody wrong. When I fight the best, they always bring the best out of me," he told USA Today.
