Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Divorce; 'Highway Don't Care' Singer Had 'Spectacular' Year in Career Amid Split Rumors [VIDEO]
Despite the fact that Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill spent most of 2013 dodging divorce rumors, the One of Those Nights singer said it was a good year for his career, CMT reported.
He certainly didn't let the speculation that he and Hill were splitting, stop him from making good music for his 12th album, Two Lanes of Freedom.
"I always want to go in and try to make the best record that I can make -- no matter what the circumstances are... There was going to be a system and a plan."
This past April, McGraw was rumored to be divorcing his wife because of an attraction he had to You Belong With Me singer Taylor Swift. She, along with country star Keith Urban, is featured on one of his current hit songs Highway Don't Care, and McGraw revealed what it was like to work with her in the studio.

"When you have someone like Taylor -- who is probably one of the biggest stars in the world -- and Keith -- who's right up there with her -- the energy that they both bring with the crowd and how they react to it, it's always something pretty special."
The song went on to win two CMA awards, Music Video of the Year and Musical Event of the year on Nov. 6.
In light of the rumors that he and Hill were on the verge of divorce, the country singing duo performs every weekend together for their second Soul2Soul concert series at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
He said, "Ultimately, I get to sing with her for 10 weekends, which we don't get to do very often anymore. This is really the only chance we get to sing together, and I get the best of both worlds."
