Brad Paisley Carrie Underwood Cheating After CMA Awards 2013? Wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley, "Nashville' Actress Responds
After Brad Paisley was alleged to have been cheating with Country Music Association Awards co-host Carrie Underwood, his wife responded to the rumors.
The National Enquirer recently reported that the pair started having an extramarital "affair" because they "sparkled together" after co-hosting the ceremony.
Underwood, who rose to fame after winning season 4 of American Idol in 2005, and Brad have been co-hosting the County Music Association Awards for the past four years in a row.
"In recent months, as she's faced one marital crisis after another, it seems like Carrie is leaning on Brad more than ever," a source reportedly told National Enquirer. "They text and email each other constantly, and Carrie confides in Brad about all the problems she and Mike are having."
Paisley's wife was asked about the tabloid report at the Annual African Children's Gala on Nov. 21, two weeks after the award show was held in Nashville, Tenn. at the Bridgestone Arena on Nov.6.
"Am I in the National Enquirer? You're breaking it to me! What did I do?" Kimberly Williams-Paisley, a Nashville actress, told Us Weekly. "Are you serious? Wow! I hope it helps our careers! That's all I can say."
Paisley married Kimberly Williams-Paisley in 2003 and the couple has two sons together. Underwood wed professional hockey player Mike Fisher in July 2010.
Brad previously expressed his love for Kimberly in an interview in 2011.
"She's so down to earth, there's no pretentiousness," he told Redbook . "With Kim I realized that if I ever let her go, not only could I never do any better, but I would always regret it. So I had to marry her. I had no choice!"
