The 87th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade will broadcast live nationwide on NBC on Thursday.

Beginning at 9 a.m. until noon on Thursday, Nov. 28 TODAY co-anchors Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie will host the televised event live.

A long list of celebrities from sports, music, reality television and even the circus, will perform and sit atop floats and wave to fans. Multi-award-winning country singer Carrie Underwood will kick off in the first hour with the cast of The Sound of Music Live.

Other celebrities scheduled to appear include Kellie Pickler, Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Kristin Chenoweth, Gavin DeGraw, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots with the cast of Sesame Street, Fifth Harmony, Florida Georgia Line, Goo Goo Dolls, Cher Loyd, Mannheim Steamroller and Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri.

The Robertson family from A&E's hit series Duck Dynasty and Disney star Debby Ryan will also attend. View the complete lineup list here.

Snippets of musical performances from the cast of several hit Broadway shows, including Matilda and Motown: The Musical, will also be heard.

More than 3.5 million people are expected to line the parade route. Another 50 million are expected to watch more than 1,600 cheerleaders, 11 marching bands and 900 clowns from home.

There are also several balloons that will be introduced for the first time since the parade started in 1924.

The characters from Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, Snoopy with his pal Woodstock, SpongeBob SquarePants and Night Fury dragon Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon.

The parade will begin in New York's Manhattan at 77th Street and Central Park West, travel down to Columbus Circle-59st, turn onto Central Park South. It will continue down 6th Avenue/Avenue of the Americas to 34th Street. At 34th Street, the Parade will make its final turn west and end at 7th Avenue in front of Macy's Herald Square department store. A map of the route is available on Macy's official website here.
