Rebecca McBrain, Paul Walker Ex Girlfriend Consoling Daughter Meadow Walker Since Sudden Death of Father [PHOTOS]
Paul Walker's ex-girlfriend Rebecca McBrain has been consoling the duo's daughter, Meadow Walker following the suddent death of the Fast & Furious actor.
According to reports, McBrain and Walker split not long after Meadow was born in 1999. Meadow recently moved from Hawaii to California a few years ago to be closer with her father. (See photos of McBrain here)
"Rebecca is being there for her daughter, who is naturally devastated," a source said. "She and Paul had some good times together. She too is upset by his death."
Meadow was with her father at his charity event, moments before he was killed. She was near the scene in the Santa Clarita/ Valencia area in California when Paul went up in flames.
Jim Torp, who attended Paul's Reach Out Worldwide charity event described the scene to E! News right before the fatal accident.
"They kept his daughter off to the side, so she wouldn't know what was going on until they really know what had happened," Torp said.
Meadow "was in pieces," Torp revealed.
The 15-year-old took to Facebook on Sunday to write about her father's untimely passing.
"When I was little, he taught me to walk, taught me to smile, and taught me never to give up," Meadow posted to her Facebook page in a beautiful tribute to her father. "I loved him even before I knew what love was. He was my hero, my REAL life hero! He will always be in my heart! It brings tears in my eyes as I write this!"
