Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom Divorce to Take Place New Years 2014? Couple Spent Thanksgiving Apart
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom will end their marriage when the New Year comes, according to reports.
The couple's marriage struggles have been the focus for the past few months and the reality star has been carefully "calculating" her divorce plans for weeks. VH1's The Gossip Table revealed Kardashian is in the midst of making her divorce plans.
"The divorce plans are very calculated," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "Not only does Khloe want to wait until after the holidays, she also wants to wait to see if Lamar will sign with an NBA team [because] she would want him to finish the season drama free. Plus she wants to work around the television show storylines. As crazy as this all sounds Khloe is business first, divorce afterwards."
On an upcoming teaser for the family's reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe is heard saying,"I have to move on with my life."
Kourtney is also seen talking on the phone with Odom who tells his sister-in-law that he needs their famous family because they are the only family he has.
"It's not a matter of if she'll file, it's a matter of when," another source added.
The couple didn't even share Thanksgiving together, as they were in two different cities.
"Lamar wanted to spend Thanksgiving with his father and so he didn't spend it with Khloé," a source told E! News. "He is doing really, really well. He is in great shape, he is going to be playing with the Clippers. He should be starting later this month."
