Amanda Bynes has enrolled in school for fashion design just after being released from rehab, but one source told Radar Online that isn't the best move for the Easy A actress.

While she still visits her doctors on a consistent schedule, the insider said Bynes, who received treatment for bipolar and schizophrenia disorders, may be getting ahead of herself.

"Amanda was told by her doctors that going to fashion school, so soon after being released from The Canyons is an absolutely terrible idea for [her] to do at this time -- it's almost setting her up for failure," the insider said. "There will be pressure on Amanda as far as school work, deadlines, and it's unlikely she will be able to succeed."

The source also revealed that the school is located two hours from Bynes' parents' home, where she is currently living. The 27-year-old still cannot drive because she does't have a drivers license that is valid.

The What I Like About You actress is registered as a student under two different alias names at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Orange County, Calif., according to TMZ.

Bynes' close friends think the experience will help with her transition out of rehab and into society, giving her more stability. Bynes will be going to classes as well as getting continued treatment in therapy sessions four times a week.
