It will be the Pakistan side facing off against Afghanistan in a T20 cricket matchup at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Although both of the teams make their home in the United Arab Emirates,the matchup could be a potential momentum-builder for Pakistan, who'll go on to square off against the likes of Sri Lanka.

However, Afghanistan will look to make history, and will surely acknowledge the fact that even being in the matchup itself symbolizes its rise to cricket significance.

After taking on Pakistan, Afghanistan will go on to play Ireland in a four-day match that'll decide its fate for the ICC Trophy less than two days following its current opponent.
