'Dumb and Dumber 2' News: Jeff Daniels Calls 2014 Sequel 'Funnier Than the First' [VIDEO]
Dumb and Dumber 2 star Jeff Daniels recently revealed that the highly anticipated sequel will be more humorous than the 1994 film.
Daniels, who reprised his role as Harry Dunne for Dumb and Dumber 2, recently called into a Detroit radio station and teased a few details about the film.
"Well, it felt funnier than the first," Daniels said. "As they say in sports, we left nothing in the locker room."
Dumb and Dumber 2, stylized as Dumb and Dumber To, reunites Harry and Lloyd (Jim Carrey) 20 years after the events of Dumb and Dumber. Harry and Lloyd go on the hunt for Harry's daughter in the hope of getting one of her kidneys.
Other actors slated to appear in the film include Jennifer Lawrence in a cameo role, Kathleen Turner and Laurie Holden as well as Texas Rangers pitcher Derek Holland.
Carrey recently commented on his experience filming the sequel.
"Jeff and I are having a blast and the Farrelly brothers are nuts," Carrey said. "They're completely insane and you look around and everybody's the same, the whole crew -- they just drag everybody along. It's like the caravan of fun. It's cool."
Dumb and Dumber 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on Nov. 14, 2014.
