Everyone has something to say about Justin Bieber's behavior, and the singer recently responded to the media "bullying" him.

Bieber spoke with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on Monday, Dec. 9 to promote his upcoming film Believe. He said the documentary will show fans a behind the scenes look of his public life, and that it should clear up the misconceptions about some of his latest headline-making behavior.

Bieber called out the media for the coverage of his teen years, explaining, "I'm becoming a man, but I'm still 19. I'm still finding myself and when I have the media attacking me every day it's no [different] than bullying that happens in school, these people calling me names and saying things, and they don't know what's true or not."

He also discussed the expectation that he can or should be a perfect role model, saying, "people forget I'm a human being."

"I think Never Say Never showed hope and I think Believe is really how you get back up when you fall down and really that story of what's going on behind the scenes," Bieber shared. "People don't get to see me living [as] a 19-year-old boy."

"I think this movie really shows who I am as a person: that I just want to help people and inspire the world," he added. "Of course I make mistakes growing up ... and I'm not perfect ... people forget I'm a human being [and] I have to make mistakes and grow stronger."

Bieber released his latest single, Confident, on Monday and it reached the number one spot on iTunes within just a few hours. Believe will be released in theaters on Christmas Day.
