Kelly Rowland Engaged To Tim Witherspoon, 'X Factor' Judge Proposed To On Skype By 'Best Friend' [VIDEO]
Kelly Rowland confirmed her engagement to Tim Witherspoon on The Queen Latifah Show, and also revealed the unconventional way he popped the question.
"It happened on Skype," Rowland, who was in Bulgaria at the time of the proposal, recalled. "But it was so late and we were honestly just staring at each other and he asked me and it was just that simple to say 'yes.'"
The current X Factor judge, who also said she's kept her relationship with her manager private for a few years now, explained a big perk to their engagement.
"I have my best friend to ride through life with," she said on the segment which will air on Wednesday. "He really is my best friend."
Rumors of the engagement started in November after the 32-year-old was spotted wearing a big rock on her wedding finger in an Instagram video posted by her friend J. Que Smith.

The former Destiny's Child member was engaged once before to football player Roy Williams. The couple split in January 2005, two months before Rowland was set to walk down the aisle.
In November 2011, the singer covered Cosmopolitan U.K. and spoke candidly about the failed engagement.
"It was so hard and embarrassing because everyone knew," she said. "I'd posed for the front cover of a magazine in my wedding dress and it was sale. But sometimes you fall down and you learn from it."
She also told the magazine that she'd be "ready for marriage when the right time comes."
