Pakistan is coming off a strong showing against the likes of South Africa and will look to build on that momentum at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Sri Lanka had mixed results when they went up against New Zealand, as they won one, lost one and had another match cancelled due to rain.
The first ODI should be a highly competitive game with a plethora of must-see performances. The last time the two squads faced off was in Nov. 2011, and Pakistan dominated the Lankans 4-1 in five matchups.
