Over 80 people were injured Thursday night when part of the ceiling collapsed at London's Apollo Theater, according to reports.

Audience members, who were taking in a production of The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night-Time, were hit by the falling debris at around 8:15 p.m. GMT when a 10-meter by 10-meter (about 30-feet by 30-feet) chunk of plaster ceiling fell five-stories into the crowd, according to New York Daily News.

Emergency services quickly responded with eight fire engines, 25 ambulance crews and an air ambulance, according to the BBC. Of the 720 people inside the building, 51 were taken to area hospital while another 40 received medical treatment at the nearby Gielgud Theatre.

A tweet from the London Fire Brigade revealed that all trapped persons have been freed.

"A section of the theater's ceiling collapsed onto the audience who were watching the show," explained Nick Harding, Kingsland Station Manager for the London Fire Brigade, according to NBC. "The ceiling took parts of the balconies down with it."

No fatalities have been reported and the cause of the collapse is currently under investigation.

The Apollo Theater is located on Shaftsbury Avenue in the SoHo section of London.
