Kris Jenner Bruce Jenner Split 2013: Reality Star Says They 'Don't Bicker As Much', Talks Kissing North West on New Year's Eve [VIDEO]
It has been quite a year for the matriarch of the Kardashian clan, Kris Jenner, who said that she and he estranged husband Bruce Jenner are still on good terms after announcing their separation in October.
"We're great. He's great and I'm great and we're such good friends. Sometimes people are just better apart and have better energy," the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told People magazine at the #cirocthenewyear anti-drinking and driving pledge party at Mixology 101 in Los Angeles Dec. 17.
While divorce is not a topic for them, the separation may have been the best thing for their marriage, the matriarch revealed.
Kris said, "We don't bicker as much. We were starting to sound like some old sitcom from the '50s. I listened to myself and didn't like me. Everyone is happier."
As for their children, Kendall, Kylie, Khloe, Kim, Kourtney and Rob, they are doing just fine after the separation as well.
"They notice the difference and how the energy in the house has shifted and how great everyone is," Jenner said.
She expressed that while they might be separated, she and Bruce will still spend the holidays together.
"Bruce came over last night because he just had to see the tree again! It's really fun. I get so excited during the holidays. I get excited when he's coming over. We enjoy seeing each other more now," she said.
But it doesn't look like Bruce will be the one locking lips with Kris to bring in the New Year. That kiss goes to Kris' youngest grandchild, North West.
"I have a date, and her name is North. North West is my kiss," she revealed.
