Time is running out for the Eleventh Doctor this Christmas and the mysterious Tasha Lem may not be helping matters much.

While Doctor Who's Matt Smith prepares to make his final exit form the TARDIS in "The Time of the Doctor," the Doctor and Clara (Jenna Louise Coleman) will find themselves chasing a transmission across the universe. However, they won't be the only travelers to pick up the message and Eleven will soon find himself facing off against the Cybermen, the Daleks, the Weeping Angels, the Silence, and the same religious infused Army as in "A Good Man Goes To War."

Heading up the Army is Tasha Lem (Orla Brady), and she is looking to reenact the Time War, but this time on Trenzalore.

"Tasha Lem is an old friend of the Doctor's. She has worked her way up through her organization, the Papal Mainframe," Brady said of her character, according to the BBC. "We haven't met her before, but we have met her troops. She's like the head of the galactic UN - but much more war-like."

However, a sneak peek photo for the Christmas episode reveals that Lem may have a tinsy bit of an affliction, the type of affliction that can result in a Dalek eyestalk sticking out of one's forehead. Friend may soon become foe for the Doctor.

Nevertheless, a new clip shows that Eleven seems to trust Lem to tell him secrets too sensitive for Clara to hear. Watch the Time Lord quickly reconsider allowing his companion in on his conversation with Lem by clicking the video below. For more sneak peeks, click here and here.

"The Time of the Doctor" will air on Dec. 25 at 9 p.m. ET on BBC America.
