'Gracepoint' Fox Casting: Kevin Rankin of 'Breaking Bad,' Virginia Kull of 'The Following' & More Join 'Broachurch's David Tennant [VIDEO]
"Gracepoint," Fox's Americanization of Britain's "Broadchurch," is revving up it's casting machine, bringing in more actors to join their British lead.
David Tennant will once again be taking on the series' main role, although this time he will be named Detective Emmett Carver instead of DI Alec Hardy. An outsider cutting his teeth on the local scene, Carver must work along side Anna Gunn's Detective Ellie Miller in order to solve the tragic death of an 11-year-old boy named Danny.
Gunn isn't the only actress swapping Breaking Bad's New Mexico for some new coastal scenery. Kevin Rankin will take on the role of the town's minister (Paul Coates) while The Following's Virginia Kull will play Danny's mother, according to Deadline. Michael Peña has been cast as Danny's father, Mark Lasseter.

Meanwhile, Miller won't be the only person contending with an outsider at work. Gossip Girl's Kevin Zegers will portray her nephew, local reporter Owen Burke, who will have to go head to head with another journalist from the city as the media takes interest in Danny's death, according to TV Line. A man by the name of Joe Miller, Owen's uncle and Miller's wife, will be played by Josh Hamilton, reports Deadline.
Gracepoint will be an event series and will premiere during the 2014-2015 season. Click the video below to find out more about Gracepoint by watching the trailer for Broadchurch.
