'American Horror Story: Coven' Spoilers: Does Queenie Stay Dead for the Rest of Season 3? [VIDEO]
One of the characters on American Horror Story: Coven who is suspected to have died in the latest episode will likely stay dead.
New photos from the set of American Horror Story: Coven were recently published, despite being taken in early December. In the photos, Madison (Emma Roberts) and Kyle (Evan Peters) are seen grieving at a funeral. Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett) and Zoe (Taissa Farmiga) are also seen in the background of the photos. See the photos here.
Presuming this scene will be in the next episode of the horror anthology series, it seems reasonable to suggest that they are at the funeral of Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe), who sacrificed herself in the latest episode to prevent Hank (Josh Hamilton) from killing Marie Laveau.

Sidibe explained in a interview with Entertainment Weekly after the episode aired that Queenie might not be dead for long.
"Is Queenie dead? Well, that's what I thought for a while," she said, "I thought that she was dead. She's definitely sustained a lot of injuries to say the least. She should be dead. I never really even gotten the answer. I'm still currently working.
She also teased that there is a "pretty good chance" that viewers will see Queenie again, though that does not necessarily indicate that she will be alive, despite Misty's (Lily Rabe) power of resurrection. It's possible that she could just appear in flashbacks for the rest of the season.
American Horror Story: Coven returns for its midseason premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 10 p.m. on FX.
