Chris Brown, Girlfriend Karrueche Tran Will Bring in 2014 New Year at His Rehab Facility Unless 'He Can Get Away,' Source Says
After spending a romantic Christmas together, Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran plan to have a low key night at his rehab facility for New Year's Eve.
The 24-year-old model/socialite hopes that Brown will get a pass to leave the center to bring in 2014, but either way she will be by his side.
"Unless a miracle happens and he can get away, she'll be there with him," a source close to the couple revealed to HollywoodLife.com about the couple's New Year's Eve plans.
On Wednesday, she celebrated Christmas with her boyfriend and "brought him a bowl of gumbo, a few slices of pumpkin pie, and a six pack of 7-Up."
"She also bought him a bomb Rolex watch with their initials engraved underneath the face," the source said. "She said he was really surprised and had the biggest smile on his face."
Tran recently spoke with Global Grind and dished how hard it has been dealing with the negativity on social media about her relationship with Brown.
"It's kind of hard and it's annoying because these people just say whatever they want," she told entertainment reporter BlogXilla. "Just stupid stuff [they say] when it's like, 'you can't even spell my name. I just try my best to ignore it and look on the positive side."
"At the end of the day, they don't know who I am. They're just judging me off their own opinions."
Earlier this year, Brown and ex-girlfriend Rihanna seemed to have rekindled their romance, but he soon went back to Tran.
"It's different and its something that alot of people will never understand. That is why I get so much flack and so much hate because looking from the outside in, it looks messy," Tran said.
