Britney Spears' Las Vegas Show Performance VIDEOS: Residency Kicks Off with Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry & More Stars in the Audience
Britney Spears kicked off her two-year Las Vegas residency on Friday, Dec. 27 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in front of a star-studded audience.
Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez and Adam Lambert came out to watch the pop icon own the stage at the AXIS theater for her 90-minute Piece of Me show. The 32-year-old sported a number of costumes and wigs as she sang some of her best-selling hits over the span of her career, including tracks from her ...Baby One More Time album to her recent Britney Jean record. The Grammy winner was joined on stage by a group of backup dancers.
The set began with Spears performing Work Bi--h as she descended on stage in a globe-like cage, according to Billboard. She sported a sequined ensemble similar to the outfit she wore in her Toxic music video. She performed 24 songs in total, which featured at times "a massive rotating tree, pyrotechnics, rain and fire."
Spears closed the show with Crazy and came back for an encore of the upbeat track Till the World Ends. The show only included two songs featured on her Britney Jean album: Work Bi--h and Perfume.
"Wow... perfect audience for the 1st#PieceOfMe show! That was AMAZING!" Spears tweeted after the show, along with a snapshot of herself sporting a black two-piece outfit and a Fedora on stage.

"@KatyPerry Was SOOOO good to see you again girl! Glad we could make our Vegas date happen :)" she wrote. "@MileyCyrus Love you so much! Thank you for coming to#PieceOfMe! I adore you :)," she added.
Gomez added a photo to her Instagram account with the caption "Sia!! Thank you soooo much for taking me to Britney!!!! Ahhhh."
