Jennifer Lawrence Tops Box Office Sales 2013 'Hunger Games'' Star Is 'Most Money-Making' Draw [NEWS]
Jennifer Lawrence is officially the most money-making star of 2013.
Quigley Publishing Company's annual poll made the announcement that the American Hustle actress topped the box office with the most money made this year. Sandra Bullock came in at second place with dominating films like Gravity, and Bradley Cooper who starred alongside Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle came in third.
Lawrence conquered the year with bankable films, including The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbook where she won the Oscar for Best Actress. Lawrence also starred in a couple lesser known films this year, including The Devil You Know and House at the End of the Street.
The actress was also one of Quigley's Stars of Tomorrow last year, making a record of going from the top of that poll to the top banker the following year.
Lawrence has a wide array of new movies coming out in 2014, including Serena where she'll play an infertile wife. She will also reprise her role as Mystique in X-Men: Days of Future Past as well as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part1. In 2015, she will finish her role as Katniss in The Hunger Games: Monckingjay- Part 2, and has even more films lined up.
It was also announced that Variety named Lawrence as one of the "most influential people of 2013."
