New Year's Resolutions Celebrities 2014: Stars Voice Their Health Goals For The Twelve Months Ahead
Now that it's officially 2014, Fergie and other celebrities are looking to continue on with their New Year's resolutions.
In a YouTube video posted by People, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie said that her resolution is to get healthier this year after taking time off to be a mom.
"Stay consistent with my workout and eating healthy just cause, you know, just being a new mommy, it's easy to grab whatever's there and to kind of throw the workout out the window," she explained.
Sanaa Lathan from The Cleveland Show and Boss plans to cut down on sugar and meat: "I would like to kind of just readjust into more of a healthy lifestyle. Not as much sugar, not as much, you know, meat."
Diego Klattenhoff from Homeland and Mercy plans to hit the gym and catch up on sleep.
"Try to get a little more sleep when I can," he said. "Try to hit the gym a little more, maybe."
Singer Ed Sheeran wants to cut back on his unhealthy habits, although he does not sound confident about his abilities to do so.
"I should probably cut down the junk food and the beer and the cigarettes, which I won't 'cause I say that every year and I never do," he said.
Modern Family star Julie Bowen has an odd resolution this year: her goal is to get whiter teeth.
"I want to get my teeth whitened and not drink coffee five minutes later," Bowen said. "I finally got my teeth bleached this year and it was so hard. I was drinking through a straw and it was hot!"
While Bowen made a tooth change, she plans to keep her teeth shiny longer than before.
"I would really like to preserve the tooth brightening process for longer than a day next year," Bowen said. "I think that's a dream of mine."
