Miley Cyrus & Beyonce Beef of Alleged Takeover? Feud Denied by 'Adore You' Singer; Says She's 'Getting to the Bottom of It' [VIDEO]
Miley Cyrus denied insulting Beyonce via Twitter Thursday for choosing to have a child at the peak of her career.
Cyrus told her followers on the social media website, "That quote people MADE UP about Beyonce just made me lol! Imagine if I said I got the 'looks and the curves I'm just better!' Bahahahhaha."
"How are people allowed to make up s--t and then put quotes around it saying I said that s--t! Thank God I just woke up from this nightmare," she also wrote.
The former Disney star said she is "getting to the bottom of this s--t" and is going to make whoever spread the false quotes retract their statement. She added that when it comes to stirring up drama, creating a fake feud with Beyonce is off limits.
Cyrus' remarks follows allegations that she told Love Magazine for its latest issue, set to hit stands in March, Beyonce's body went going through many changes after giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012, making room for "young faces" to fill her spot. Cyrus reportedly said the biggest hit to Beyonce's career was choosing to have her child, and the Wrecking Ball singer is the only one capable of reiging over Queen Bey.
"As Beyonce grows in motherhood and all the crap it does to your body, it will create a vacuum for fresh young faces to rise up and no one else can properly fill that void right now. I got the total package, you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I'm just the best," Cyrus is rumored to have said. "Beyonce has been a big inspiration for me, but she's been out for such a long time. [She's been] out of the game for too long. I'm the only White female singer that could fill that slot right now and do it right."
The publication confirmed that Cyrus never said those specific remarks about Beyonce. LOVE tweeted Thursday, "@MileyCyrus never said anything to us about Beyonce, the quotes were made up and we're trying to get to the bottom of where this came from."
"WE ALL LOVE BEYONCE," a separate post read.
Beyonce was mentioned in Cyrus' interview with the magazine when the latter talked about her aspirations to have similar success as her icons.
