The 2014 People's Choice Awards aired Wednesday and included special performances from Sara Bareilles, OneRepublic and Brad Paisley.

The show was hosted by 2 Broke Girls stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs. Past hosts have included two-time The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco and Queen Latifah, who hosted for five consecutive years. The last time a set of co-stars co-hosted the event was in 2005, when Jason Alexander and Malcolm Jamal Warner of Listen Up shared the honor.

Prominent actors presenting awards included the cast of CBS's The Big Bang Theory, Drew Barrymore, Robert Downey Jr., Zac Efron, Anna Faris, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael B. Jordan, Queen Latifah, Julianna Margulies, Melissa McCarthy, Girls star Allison Williams, as well as The Vampire Diaries cast members Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev.

This is the first time the show had two hosts who are both female.

Over 700 million votes were cast. Jennifer Hudson won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Humanitarian.

Glee leads TV shows with eight nominations, including Favorite Network TV Comedy, and Katy Perry was in front of the music categories with five nods. In movies, Sandra Bullock aklso got five nominations, including two for Favorite Duo (one with Gravity co-star George Clooney and the other with The Heat's Melissa McCarthy).

The 2014 People's Choice Awards broadcasted live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 9 p.m. ET.
