Jennifer Lawrence took home the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture on Sunday night.

Nominated alongside Sally Hawkins of Blue Jasmine, Lupita Nyong'o of 12 Years A Slave, Julia Roberts of August: Osage County, and June Squibb of Nebraska, Lawrence pulled in the win for her performance as Rosalyn Rosenfeld in the David O. Russell directed American Hustle.

Although Hawkins took home the Golden Globe for Supporting Actress in 2008 for her portrayal of Pauline "Poppy" Cross in Mike Leigh's Happy-Go-Lucky, Lawrence topped her competitors achievement by walking away with Best Actress in a Motion Picture in 2013 for Silver Linings Playbook (also directed by Russell) before scoring her Supporting Actress nomination.

Hosted by returning comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the 71st Golden Globe Awards celebrated the achievements of 2013's film and television endeavors. Airing live from the Beverly Hilton, the annual gathering bestowed honors in 25 categories following voting by the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

The Golden Globes serve as the inaugural award ceremony of the season, coming only a week before the Screen Actor Guild Awards.
