The unstable seem to gravitate toward each other on NBC's Hannibal, and this means the new character of Margot will fit in nicely.

Just as Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) has a need to be close to Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), Margot will feel a similar attraction to the scapegoat encephalitis patient.

Set to enter near the end of season 2's 12-episode run, Margot will be another of Dr. Lecter's patients (presumably unaware that her psychiatrist is a gruesome murderer and cannibal) who is trying to recover from the abuse she suffered at the hands of her serial killer twin brother, according to TV Line. The site reports that Margot (who once tried to kill her brother) will develop some sort of "relationship" with Will, although it is unknown whether this will be romantic or purely platonic.

In the meantime, Hannibal will continue to try to be close to Will, despite that fact that he orchestrated the frame-up that has resulted in the FBI profiler's current detention at the Baltimore Hospital for the Criminally Insane.

"Hannibal will always want to be close to Will," series creator Bryan Fuller told TV Guide. "He sees a great potential in Will as this pure human being, and he's seduced by Will's purity. He's attracted to it, and he's also very eager to conquer it in some way."

However, Will is probably feeling a tiny bit differently about his psychologist, considering he discovered Hannibal's true identity as the Chesapeake Ripper at the end of last season.

Hannibal returns to NBC on Feb. 28 at 10 p.m. ET. Click the video below to view the end of the season 1 finale, "Savoureux."
