One could-be couple is going to kiss for the first time on a television show and it could be The Vampire Diaries characters Stefan and Caroline.

E! News posted on Tuesday, Jan. 13, a teaser saying one TV series will feature a suprisingly kiss in its current season followed by a dramatic storyline. One character will freak out after the kiss while the other finds a new love interest.

As of now, the potential couples are:

Stefan and Caroline (The Vampire Diaries)

Danny and Mindy (The Mindy Project)

Felicity and Oliver (Arrow)

Couples crossed off the list included Haley and Elijah (The Originals), Carrie and Quinn (Homeland), and Huck and Quinn (Scandal). One of the remaining three will be crossed off if the E! article gets re-tweeted with #KissingTVCouple.

The Mindy Project Spoilers

The Vampire Diaries will return with its fifth season on Thursday, Jan. 23. It won a People's Choice Award on Jan. 8 for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry, which went to Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev. It was also nominated for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show. In 2013, it was nominated for the same category and Favorite TV Fan Following.

The Mindy Project will have a new episode on Jan. 14, part of its second season. It was nominated for a People's Choice Award in 2013 for Favorite New TV Comedy.

Season 2 of Arrow continues with a new episode on Wednesday, Jan. 15. It was nominated for a People's Choice Award in 2013 for Favorite New TV Drama.
