The evidence against Franco (Roger Howarth) is beginning to pile up on General Hospital.

As the investigation into Carly's (Laura Wright) disappearance and potential murder continues, a bloody knife that was found appears to point right at Franco. The knife was proven to be Carly's but Franco's prints were on it.

In a preview clip for the Thursday, Jan. 16 episode, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Anna (Finola Hughes) appear ready to arrest Franco.

"It looks like Franco killed Carly," Dante said.

Franco has been a suspect since Carly disappeared. He has been accused of the crime by his father Scott (Kin Shriner) and Carly's son Michael (Chad Duell). Carly's ex-husband Sonny (Maurice Bernard) now believes Franco was capable of the crime.

"If you didn't do it, who did?" Sonny asked Franco in the clip.

No one in Port Charles has figured out yet that Franco is innocent. The culprit is his crazy mother Heather (Robin Mattson), who kidnapped Carly and is now actively trying to frame her son for the crime.

"When the cops put all the pieces together, they'll arrest Franco," she said.

Meanwhile, Julian (Michael DeVry) will be in for a shock when he learns he has another child he was unaware of: Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes).

"I do have a connection with Lucas. He's my son," he said to his sister, Ava (Maura West) in the clip.

Julian previously learned he was Sam's (Kelly Monaco) father as well.
