'NCIS: LA' Season 5 Spoilers: Deeks' Feelings Tested During Upcoming Case, 'Shocking Revelation' In Store For Densi Relationship [VIDEO]
NCIS: Los Angeles fans have waited a long time for Deeks and Kensi to become an item, but it might not take too much for their long-distance relationship to sail into turbulent waters.
Although the LAPD Detective and the NCIS Agent finally concluded their feeling for each other warranted more attention during "The Frozen Lake," the partners quickly separate. With Kensi (Danila Ruah) currently embroiled in a search for the White Ghost, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) may have his feelings tested in an upcoming episode.
"515 spoiler: Deeks works a case with someone who challenges his feelings. Will he stay true. #staytuned #NCISLA," teased executive producer John Peter Kousakis in a tweet on Saturday.
Expected to air as the 16th installment of season 5, the untitled episode will feature an appearance by 666 Park Avenue's Mercede Masohn, Kousakis confirmed in a tweet not long after teasing Deeks' upcoming struggle.
Could Masohn's character be the source of the liaison's problems? Will the events of this episode influence the Densi-centric plot of episode 18? Series creator Shane Brennan teased the couple's season-long arc in an interview with Xfinity
"This season is the season of Kensi and Deeks. We haven't hesitated to pull this story forward, which started with the spontaneous kiss that opened up this Pandora's Box of emotions," Brennan explained, according to Xfinity. "A little later in the season, around episode 10 or so, things take a fairly difficult turn for both of them. About eight episodes later, there is a pretty shocking revelation that deeply affects both of them and has them both questioning everything about their relationship, particularly Kensi."
Fans should also be on the look out for a possible introduction of Kensi's former fiancée.
