Tim McGraw Faith Hill Divorce: 'Highway Don't Care' Singer Says Wife Has 'Genuine Soul' [VIDEO]
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill might be done fighting off divorce rumors as the 'Southern Girl' singer kicked off the new year gushing about his wife of more than 17 years.
While he croons about a southern girl in his song of the same name, McGraw, who hails from Lousiana said his Mississippi native wife definitely fits the bill.
"I think the thing about Faith that's so southern and reminds me so much of how I grew up and how comfortable we are together, is just her genuine soul, you know, and how nice she is and caring she is about people."
He added that southern quality like its popular hospitality, is a state of mind and doesn't have to just be in the south.
"I think that anywhere you go you can find these sort of peoples, but to me being Southern, that's just sort of the way I remember people growing up."
Hill has not publicly gushed about McGraw lately, but a picture she posted on Instagram last month sent a definite message that they are not heading for divorce.
The very candid picture that Hill shared just days before Christmas showed McGraw outside of his celebrity status and gave fans a peek at what it's really like in their home. McGraw is mixing something with his bare hands wearing a bandana and t-shirt with smudges on it and jogging pants.
Hill added the caption, "Tim making homemade chicken dumplings yesterday at my mom and dad's...Get it baby...knead that dough!!!!!"
