Prince Harry Cressida Bonas Split? The Royal Reportedly Gives Up Helicopter Flying For Girlfriend Amid Breakup Rumors [VIDEO]
Prince Harry has allegedly given up flying Apache helicopters so he can be with his longtime girlfriend Cressida Bonas more, Mirror reported Saturday.
A friend said, "The distance made it difficult for Harry to see Cressie as often as he would have liked. Moving to London full time will no doubt make them closer. It shows he is serious and Cressie is thrilled."
He is said to have traded in his flying job for an Army desk job as a staff officer at Horse Guards in Central London. At one point Bonas also gave up her dream career as a dancer to increase her potential of being part of the royal family.
An insider said, "She doesn't want to do anything that will embarrass Prince Harry, I think she felt uncomfortable about photographs being seen of her dancing earlier this year."
They already seem to be spending more time together as they were spotted out and about with the royal's cousin, Eugenie at a London nightspot this weekend. They also went out on a romantic date night earlier this week at Byron Burger in Kensington.
An eyewitness said, "They were having a good time."
Sources also say they have been spending more private time together in their homes and with their close friends.
Rumors of the two breaking up began circulating after Prince Harry returned home from his 200-mile trek for the Wounded Warriors charity in the South Pole. He was away from London for about three weeks.
It's not clear if the rumors are true. But in another report one source said that he has chosen his career over Bonas.
"He is incredibly fond of Cressida and loves her company but he has commitments and plans in other areas of his life that could be jeopardized by settling down. It is not what he wants at this time in his life."
Another added that speculation that the two were tying the knot put unwanted pressure on the royal to pop the question.
"It is the constant expectation that has frustrated Harry and in some ways contributed to the realization he doesn't want such a commitment just yet."
