In what should be a highly competitive matchup, the San Francisco 49ers (12-4) will face off against the Seattle Seahawks (13-3) at CenturyLink Field on Sunday.
Currently on an eight-game winning streak, the 49ers will look to parlay its momentum into its matchup against the Seahawks.

However, the team has struggled on the road versus Seattle, and will have to overcome that to make it to the Super Bowl for the second consecutive season.

"I think we're the two teams that everybody was looking at from the beginning. It's going to be a knockdown, drag-out game. We're ready to go," he told ESPN.

Both sides expect the game to be highly charged, with emotions at their peak, as the two NFC rivals will meet with their whole season on the line.

San Francisco linebacker NaVorro Bowman, gave his input on the crucial matchup, and the familiarity that exists between the two teams.

"Long story short: They know us, we know them. We got to go there. We all know the history. But this is the Super Bowl," he said.
