Justin Bieber DUI Rumors: 'All That Matters' Singer's Blood/Alcohol Level Higher Than Initially Reported? [VIDEO]
It appears that there may have been a mistake in Justin Bieber's DUI arrest in Miami Beach.
The cops may have gotten the singer's alcohol level wrong. According to TMZ, law enforcement said that the singer had a .04 blood alcohol level, but it looks like that may not be true. TMZ reported that his actual alcohol level was at .014, which is much lower than the legal intoxication at .08.
According to the police report, one of the cops was leaning into Bieber's rented Lamborghini when the cop later said "I immediately smelled an odor of alcohol emanating [sic] from the driver's breath."
Another officer at a holding facility after the singer's arrest also reportedly said that he smelled alcohol on his breath.
Sources connected to the case revealed that the case could come down to a credibility case, with Bieber's people accusing the cops of lying. It could become a bigger issue as the Miami Beach PD has had credibility issues in the past.
Bieber was arrested on Thursday morning where he was reportedly charged with DUI, resisting arrest and having an expired driver's license. He was observed to be drag racing against musician Khalil Sharieff who was also arrested for DUI and was allegedly found under the influence of drugs.
