The wait is over for one of the WWE's biggest pay-per-views of the year, Royal Rumble, which is set to air live from Pittsburgh on Sunday night.

The respective event will start the road to the company's biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania. The winner of the over-the-top battle will go on to face the WWE champion at the grandest stage of them all.

Twenty of the entrants in the Rumble have been confirmed, which includes the likes of Damien Sandow, The Miz, Batista, Fandango, R-Truth, The Shield, Luke Harper, Erick Rowen and more.

However, one superstar that's clearly got the biggest spotlight cast on him is C.M. Punk, who was given the No. 1 entry by Director of Operations, Kane.

Interesting enough, the self-proclaimed "Best In The World" had also been the very first entrant in the 2011 Royal Rumble. At the 2012 event, he lost to The Rock with his WWE title on the line.
