Tori Spelling Dean McDermott Divorce: '90210' Star Too Broke To Divorce Husband Despite Multiple Cheating Claims?
Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling may actually be considering divorcing her cheating husband Dean McDermott, but the star's financial situation may not be allowing her to do so.
According to Radar Online the 40-year-old actress has actually been considering divorcing the 47-year-old since allegations first broke that he cheated, but she can't afford a divorce.
"She would definitely kick Dean to the curb if she could financially afford to do so, a source said. "Tori has admitted she would file for divorce from Dean, but she is afraid she would go broke."
The actress's finances have been speculated about since she admitted in her recent book Spelling it Like it Is, that the couple wasn't as well-off as believed, after she revealed she only received $800,000 of her late father Aaron Spelling's multi-million dollar fortune after his death in 2006.
Now, it appears the situation is preventing her from actually filing for divorce, because she has made more money than her husband throughout their seven-year marriage.
To make matters worse for the star, she never signed a prenup with her husband.
"Dean wouldn't settle for anything less than joint custody," a source said. "And Tori would be forced to pay him spousal and child support. It's a really sad situation for Tori and the kids. Tori is not kicking herself for not securing the prenup with Dean."
Allegations of McDermott being unfaithful first surfaced in December 2013, after 28-year-old Emily Goodhand claimed she had sex with McDermott while he was in Toronto promoting his hosting gig on Chopped: Canada.
Since then, the actor has entered a rehab facility, saying he needed to treat himself for "personal and health issues," and has reportedly confessed to other cheating instances as well.
A source told Radar Online that McDermott has since privately confessed to bedding at least five other women in two years, via hook-ups while he was traveling without his wife.
"Making matters worse, Dean admitted to not always using protection during the encounters. It's the ultimate betrayal for Tori and she probably won't be able to ever forgive him for that. It's one thing to cheat, but another to have unprotected sex," the source said.
