Terrell Owens estranged wife, Rachel Snider has been hospitalized after attempting to commit suicide.

According to TMZ, days after Snider broke up with Owens and left him to move back to Texas, she was hospitalized for what she considers "suffering from a broken heart."

Sources close to the couple said Snider's condition was very serious and she is still in the hospital. Her condition has yet to be revealed.

Enstars reported earlier that weeks after the couple got married, Snider was planning for a divorce.

Snider claims that one of the reasons why Owens tied the knot with her was so that he could get a loan for a $2 million home in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

"I fell in love ... and now I feel betrayed and heartbroken," Snider reportedly said. "I really valued his love and friendship for 5 years. Out of the love in my heart, I tried to help him. We had a secret relationship for 5 years and I married him for love."

The marriage was the first for Owens, although he has four kids from previous relationships. Snider already has one child.

Owens has yet to release a statement about the divorce news, but he's not allowing the reports to get the best of him. He's been very active on Twitter, interacting with his fans.

"What a frickin GAME?! #KingJames does it again!! @NBATV Gotta love it @3Deezy @GregAnthony50 Hey Now!! "Can get a WITNESS?!" 111-110 Miami," he wrote Wednesday.
