'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Trailer: Will A Teaser Premiere Next Week? James Gunn Talks Upcoming Footage [VIDEO]
The Super Bowl came and went without a Guardians of the Galaxy commercial, but fans may soon be rewarded for their patience.
Is A 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Sequel In The Works For 2016 [POLL]?
Due to hit theaters this August, the upcoming Marvel film has yet to drop a preview but that might change on Tuesday. At least that's what Yahoo Singapore posted to their Twitter on Thursday.
Unfortunately, the tweet announcement was quickly deleted but CinemaBlend believes the Yahoo may have let the secret out.
While director James Gunn quickly took to Twitter to deny rumors of a Super Bowl commercial, Gunn has maintained radio silence in regards to this suspected leak.
However, a previous Facebook post from the director indicates that a trailer may not make an appearance until Captain America: The Winter Solider premieres in April.
After uploading a NASA photo of the Hand of God Pulsar Wind Nebula, Gunn joked that it was really just a complex bit of marketing for the Phase 2 film.
"We're saving Rocket [Raccoon] for our second Nebula, which won't be out for a couple months," Gunn captioned the image, possibly alluding to a trailer while referencing Bradley Cooper and Karen Gillan's characters.
While we wait to see what Tuesday will bring, fans can always re-watch the Guardians' mid-credit scene from Thor: The Dark World (see video below).
