Could a pop duet with an up-and-coming singer bring Chris Brown back to the top of the Billboard charts? Ariana Grande may be his way back to his once mainstream persona.
Ariana Grande Dating Nathan Sykes, Again?!
Grande, the 20-year-old Nickelodeon pop sensation, and Brown tweeted alleged song lyrics to each other over the weekend.
"I dug a single seed into the ground, I hope it grows," Brown tweeted on Feb. 15.
Grande also wrote, "in a year or two if you're around, you'll see a rose."
Her manager, Scott Braun, seemed to confirm that a new collaboration between the two will be out soon.
"That was an amazing session. Excited for this incredible duet on the way." he tweeted the same day.
Grande, whose album Yours Truly debuted at No. 1 last year, hasn't been afraid to collaborate with other artists. Her hit single The Way featured rapper Mac Miller, and the two were even rumored to be dating last summer.
Brown, who is currently in rehab for anger management, attempted to crossover from R&B in the past and he's done exceptionally well. One of his dance singles Forever, hit No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2008.
However, his often disappointing outbursts have caused Brown to lose some of his charm. For many, it's hard to disassociate his impeccable talent from the 'bad boy' image.

According to a Twitter fan page for Grande, she allegedly had this to say in an interview published in early Febraury:
