Rihanna landed her third Vogue cover in three years and revealed some surprising details about herself.

Rihanna Talks About Her Insecurities, See What She Had To Say

The We Found Love singer sports a sheer sparkly top, jeans, minimal makeup and tousled pixie cut on the March 2014 issue.

The star, who often said she has no desire to be a role model, spoke to Vogue about her scrutinized reputation.

"I don't go out of my way to be a rebel or to have that perception. But a lot of the decisions I make, a lot of the direction I want to move, is against the grain, or against society's tight lane, and I'm aware of that sometimes," she said. "It might not be fitting with the norm, but that's OK for me."

Aside from touching upon her public image, the piece also focuses on Rihanna's influence on the fashion world.

"There is no one else that excites me more," Alexander Wang told the magazine about Rihanna. "It's raw, it's smart, it's everything pop culture needs to move forward."

Tom Ford said, "She can throw on combinations you can't imagine other people could possibly wear, and look great. In the fashion world she has inspired a very, very loose mix of random items."

Rihanna also revealed some beauty details about herself that many may find shocking. Not only does she apply her eyeliner herself, she also wears fake jewelry from Claire's or from her mom's boutique in Barbados. The Grammy winner also spoke about her fake hair in the issue.

"It's not my hair, but the girl who donated it, she's the bomb," she said. "I have two main hair people I work with. They're always with me. I'm like, 'I'm bored! I wanna change my hair!' That's the good thing about a weave. You can do whatever with it."
