John Cena Injury Real 2014? WWE Superstar Suffered A Knee Injury Halting 'Wrestlemania 30' Feud With Bray Wyatt Or It's All An Angle?
Last night's edition of Monday Night Raw was indeed momentous, as the WWE's flagship show celebrated the launch of its brand new network by bringing in the likes of "The Real American" himself Hulk Hogan.
Aside from the Hulkster's appearance on the mic to kick off Raw, and the return of The Undertaker, it was the supposed freak injury of John Cena that caught many members of the WWE Universe offguard, as he's currently set to work a Wrestlemania XXX program with the fastly-rising Bray Wyatt.
While Cena was trying to fight off the 3-on-1 attack orchestrated on him by The Wyatt Family, it seemed as though he unexpectantly hyperextended his knee, and ultimately balled up in the the middle of the squared circle in pain.
However, on Tuesday, the PW Insider reported that while announcer Michael Cole stated on air that there was swelling in Cena's knee and he was being evaluated by the medical staff of the WWE , the situation was all part of the angle.
Erick Rowan had grabbed ahold of Cena's knee and held onto it while the latter's body went in the other direction. A WWE trainer could be witnessed tending to the superstar. Cena waived him off and continued the fight , but was still visibly limping.
