New reports from E! state that Perry and Mayer decided to split up a few days ago. The source did not release an official statement regarding the status of their relationship, but says that the relationship is over, for now.
The singing duo have called it quits in the past and later reunited, but things could possibly be over for good this time around.
The last time the Dark Horse singer made an official public appearance, Mayer was not by her side. At the 2014 Elle Style Awards in London, the 29-year-old pop star walked the red carpet alone, looking gorgeous in a curve-accentuating ivory-printed gown by famed designer Vivienne Westwood. At that time, rumors sparked that the two may have gotten engaged because she wore a massive diamond ring on her left hand, however, days later, a source has come out with opposing information.

This new alleged break up comes as a surprise, especially after releasing and subsequently promoting their love-filled duet Who You Love, from Mayer's last project Paradise Valley. Recording together was an easy decision for the couple at the time,
"We have music as an understanding and love between each other and we connect," Perry told Good Morning America last December.
Nonetheless, things seem to have taken a turn for the worse. On Feb. 16th, Mayer and Perry were pictured enjoying a cutesy stroll in Hollywood, but as of late have not been seen together.
In all fairness, this is not the first time the couple has split up. Since making their relationship public in 2012, the two took a break in March of last year. They reconciled a short time after and never addressed the break up or why they decided to give their bond another try.
No official statements have been released from either camp, but Enstars will keep you up to date as the story develops.
