It looks like there might be some speculation that Sarah Parish from The Holiday and The Wedding Date could be landing herself a role on Downton Abbey.

Downton Abbey To End After Fifth Season?

On Sunday, Express posted an interview with the 45-year-old English actress who revealed how much she hopes to get a part on the British drama.

"Oh, I'd love to!" Parish said. "I saw Julian Fellowes at a charity carol concert last Christmas. I nestled up to him and gave him the 'Downton eye,' but I've yet to be cast, either upstairs or downstairs. I'll go either way- I don't mind. Though actually, as I've played a lot of regal parts lately, I think I'd like to go downstairs."

Lady Mary In New Romance?

There is a possibility that if Parish were to get a part on the series, she could play a "bad" person since that appears to be her trademark.

"I keep getting these roles as horrible b----es- which is weird because I think I'm quite nice in real life- and I'd been evil for so long that I really wanted to do something funny," Parish said.

Parish is also known for other British television shows, including Atlantis, Breathless and Monroe.

Richard E. Grant from Gosford Park is set to guest star on Downton Abbey as Simon Bricker, a guest of the Crawleys.

"Journalists over the years have said to me, 'Are you going to be in Downton? Why aren't you in Downton?'" Grant revealed to Vulture. "I didn't feel like I could email Julian to say, 'Oy! Can you please write me a part?'"

Downton Abbey Season 5 is expected to premiere in January 2015 on PBS.
