The father of Miriam Weeks, also known as porn star Belle Knox, was supposedly heartbroken when he found out about his daughter's new career after returning home from Afghanistan, but it turns out that he may not have been that upset after all.

On Monday, Weeks was filming scenes for an upcoming adult film where she denied the report to Daily News about her father feeling heartbroken over her work.
"My parents aren't upset," Weeks revealed.
"I want my family left out of it," she continued. "If people criticize me that's one thing, but leave my family alone."
The news about her father's return from Afghanistan came from Amanda Minor, the mother-in-law of Weeks's brother Paul.
"This is a tragedy in the family. The father is one of the best human beings I've ever met," Minor told Daily Mail. "He is just back from Afghanistan; he served his country, how awesome is that?"
"He's so proud of his daughter; there's no way they could have known this was going on," Minor continued. "It's terrible. But they would never abandon their daughter. This is a nightmare what the family are going through."
But according to Weeks, she never even met Minor, and there is nothing that serious going on in the family.
"That lady doesn't know what she's talking about," Weeks said.
Weeks supposedly turned to a career in X-rated films to pay for school at Duke University.
"If Duke had given me the proper financial resources, I wouldn't have done porn," Weeks told Playboy SFW. "They have nobody to blame for the scandal but themselves."
