'The Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: Melissa McBride Dishes On 'Unfortunate' Moment & 'Moving Forward' [VIDEO]
After Sunday night's episode of The Walking Dead ended in tragedy, Melissa McBride who plays Carol, dished on the situation and how her character will move on.
On Monday, Entertainment Weekly posted an interview with McBride, who talked about how she made the decision to kill Lizzie, and how Tyreese was there for her.
"I think there is no way to say it's right or wrong," McBride said. "It's unfortunate, but what she did had to be done in her mind. And Tyreese agreed. He understood these difficult decisions need to be made and there was no choice to do this if we were to keep going with Judith. It's so tragic, and it's by no fault of her own. That's what is so horrible."

McBride then talked about why she confessed to Tyreese about killing his girlfriend, and how it could change their characters.
"There are a lot of reasons why she's confessing, and it's all lumped into one thing: accepting that things need to be done, you have a choice, trust moving forward," McBride said. "If he is the guy I think he is after seeing everything that we've been through together, he's not going to do it. He's going to understand. But she doesn't expect his forgiveness."
Now that Lizzie and Mika are dead, McBride opened up about how hard it is to lose young cast members, but she has hope for their futures.
"I know these kids are going to go and do some great things," McBride said. "But it's never easy."
