The couple reportedly organized their upcoming nuptials when Aniston visited her fiancé in New York City last week, a source told E! News.
The wedding is said to take place late summer or early fall and the actress "wants to have an island wedding."
The 45-year-old previously explained how she wants her hair to look on the special day.
"For my wedding, I wouldn't do an updo, but I think a veil is always pretty," she told Marie Clare in a June 2013 interview. "I like loose and natural hair because it goes against the formality of the dress. Loose, like 'I just got out of bed, maybe had a romp' hair."
The man who will give Aniston her desired hairdo is celebrity stylist and longtime friend Chris McMillan, whom she said she met when she was just 24 years old.
"I plan to do her hair three hours early, and hopefully she'll have a romp in bed before the ceremony," he said in the interview.
In the meantime, Theroux is still in the Big Apple shooting the forthcoming HBO series The Leftovers alongside Liv Tyler and Amy Brenneman while Aniston will start shooting her latest movie, Cake, in Los Angeles.
