Samsung Galaxy S3 Sprint Customers Offered $179.99 Release Deal
The Samsung Galaxy S3 can now be purchased by Sprint customers for just $179.99. The news will delight Sprint customers and Samsung smartphone lovers across America.
The deal is being promoted by Wirefly, and offers Samsung's latest smartphone, the Galaxy S3 for just $179.99, when purchased under a 2 year contract on the Sprint network.
The site will ship the device to customers on June 21, and even offers a $10 credit for Google Wallet with each order.
Most U.S. carriers are selling the Samsung Galaxy S3 for $200 with a new contract or an upgrade, so the Wirefly is a good deal in comparison. However, for the absolutely cheapest deal customers should head to Target or AmazonWireless, who both last week offered the new smartphone for just $149.99.
Target is offering that deal on AT&T network and requires customers to sign up to a two year contract as well. The deal is also for the 16GB version of the smartphone, however, the Galaxy S3 comes with a microSD card slot allowing owners to expand their memory to 64GB.
Sprint customers may be weary, however, as the network does not have its 4G LTE up and running yet. It should be coming in the near future, but for the moment if customers purchase the Samsung Galaxy S3 on Sprint then they will not have LTE available to them for a short while. Verizon and AT&T on the other hand will feature LTE for its Samsung Galaxy S3 customers immediately.
The new Samsung Galaxy S3 will be released on the T-Mobile and Sprint networks on June 21.
It is believed that the new Galaxy S3 will be offered in two versions for the Verizon network; the 16GB model, which will retail for $199.99; and the top-end 32GB model, which will price at $249.99 - both with a 2 year contract.
The release of the Samsung Galaxy S3 will likely see Android smartphone fans flood shops to get their hands on the latest device. Samsung has decided to launch the top range smartphone on America's top five largest networks; AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, as well as Verizon. The different providers could offer different prices.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 will feature Qualcomm's dual-core s4 chip in its U.S. version of the smartphone. Other specifications include a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, a 2100mA battery and Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.
