Phaedra Parks, Apollo Nida Split: 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Star's Husband Says That 'All People Cheat'? [VIDEO]
A heated discussion on Sunday's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta revealed Phaedra Parks' husband, Apollo Nida's, controversial views on cheating, as rumors continue to swirl that the couple is splitting up.
During the already tense group trip to Mexico, the cast and their significant others dished on their views of infidelity. Kenya Moore's partner for the vacation, Miss Lawrence, asked Parks and Nida for their perspectives.
"Well this is my thing, if you're gonna cheat or you wanna cheat, you should not be getting married. Because the first time I find you cheating on me, I'm...deuces. I'm done with it," Parks said.
Apollo Nida Shuts Down Cheating Rumors
While her views were pretty concrete, Nida seemed to express an opinion that was the complete opposite of his wife's.
"For me, I feel like all people cheat. I feel like at some given point there's a breaking point," he said.
Porsha Williams then bravely asked Nida if he believes Parks has ever been unfaithful to him.
"Now, no. Not right now. But at some point something could happen," he said. "You never know I'm never gonna set myself up not to think...For example, this is what I would tell her. If she was to cheat, please make sure that you wear a condom."
His male counterparts, Cynthia Bailey's husband Peter Thomas and Kandi Buruss' fiancé, Todd Tucker, didn't agree with his statement at all.
"When I said 'I do,' I didn't want to mess with nobody else. I'm looking for that relationship where I don't have to think for a second what shorty's doing when she's not around me," Thomas said.
The episode aired just days after rumors swirled that Parks and Nida were getting a divorce. The couple's marriage is said to be ruined amid Nida's fraud charges, and Parks reportedly wants to separate herself from her husband's legal woes.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
