Naomi Campbell On Kim & Kanye’s Vogue Cover: Supermodel Criticizes Anna Wintour’s Decision? [VIDEO]
Naomi Campbell and Sarah Michelle Gellar apparently share similar sentiments regarding the cover of Vogue's latest issue featuring Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, released on March 21.
Tuesday, The Huffington Post reported that the British supermodel made an appearance on Australian morning program The Morning Show. When host Kylie Gillies asked for Campbell's thoughts on Kim and Kanye's Vogue cover, Campbell's body language appeared to speak volumes.
She responded to the question with a smirk and stated, "I do not want to comment," followed by menacing laughter, to which Gillies further inquired about whether or not she thought Kimye qualified for a Vogue cover.
"Those are your words. I'm being politically correct," Campbell retorted, continuing with "that's Anna Wintour's choice to put them on the cover of her magazine - who's to question it?"
The renowned fashion magazine's editor-in-chief Ahas seemed wholly unfazed by any criticisms of the controversial cover, though. Following its release, Wintour issued a statement supporting the publication's cover, which reflected her confidence in not only Vogue's decision, but also in the powerful influence that she sees Kimye has on contemporary pop culture.
