'Avengers 2' Mark Ruffalo Heads To London, Is The Hulk Battling Tanks In A Snow Covered Woods? [VIDEO]
The Avengers: Age of Ultron has taken a global approach to filming, but it looks like the Marvel film is coming in for a landing in the UK.
After jumping from Johannesburg, South Africa to Italy to Seoul, South Korea, the Joss Whedon production recently took up residence in Hampshire's Hawley Woods, according to Yahoo! Movies UK. Considering the film will do the bulk of its principal photography at Shepperton Studios in Surry, Earth's mightiest heroes may be done globetrotting for the moment.
The snow-covered grove will double as an Eastern European city, reports MoviePilot, and scenes shot there will include at least three major Age of Ultron actors. Simulated gun shots will pepper the area as our heroes face off with one of their foes.
New photos from ComicBookMovie depict several bald-headed actors (which MoviePilot alleges could become robot soldiers via a little CGI work) and a Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) look-alike amid crushed tanks and a bomb disposal truck.
While it is unknown exactly which actors will appear in this scene, there is a high likelihood that Bruce Banner and/or his alter ego could drop by.
"Heading to London to start shooting Avengers2 @marvel good bye beloved NYC!" the actor tweeted on Sunday.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
