On Thursday, IOL revealed that Oscar winner Sandra Bullock could potentially land herself a spot on the British drama since she's a huge fan of the show and might be looking for a place to live that's not too far from the filming location in England. She is also apparently trying to find a proper school for her son out there.
"She loves spending time over there, enrolling her son Louis in a school and maybe doing a bit of work in London," a source told Heat Magazine.
Downton Abbey Casts New Characters For Season 5?
"Who knows, she may even be asked to make a guest appearance in Downton," the source added. "That would be a dream come true."
The site also mentioned that Bullock has been trying to get more scoop on the series from her Gravity co-star George Clooney. He worked with Hugh Bonneville during the World War II film Monuments Men- Bonneville plays Robert Crawley on the series. According to the insider, Bullock actually got to speak to Bonneville, herself, which left quite an impact.
"The show is Sandy's guilty pleasure- she watched every episode," the source said. "She kept getting George to ask Hugh for Downton gossip. In the end, he just put Hugh on the phone and got him to speak to Sandra directly. I think she was a bit starstruck."
Downton Abbey Season 5 is expected to premiere in January 2015 on PBS.
