Jackie Christie's daughter, Chantel Christie admitted that she lied about her alleged ordeal with Orlando Scandrick, only to attract ratings for Basketball Wives LA.

Chantel made headlines this season on the VH1 show after she accused Draya Michele's boyfriend of trying to hook up with her while she was with the Fine A$% designer. She even claimed her and Scandrick exchanged text messages and skyped each other for proof.

In an interview with Hip Hop Socialite, Chantel admitted that she made up the love triangle just to get on the show.

"I addressed it as being something minor. Granted, everybody goes, 'If it was minor, why did you bring it up?' At the end of the day, why do you guys watch reality TV for? This is entertainment; everybody just calm down and relax. At the end of the day, this is what it was, and it should have never got to this point," she said.

Chantel revealed that the incident blew up into something she didn't imagine, but continued to fuel the drama because Draya kept calling her out of her name.

"I'm called names, and I'm this, and I'm a ho, I gotta send for you. So yes, it's going to turn into something ugly, but this could've easily been prevented."

As far as if she regrets telling her mother about Scandrick, she said she has no regrets.

"I live, and I learn; that's all I can say. I don't not regret it, I don't really regret it - you know it is what it is, and everybody has to kind of deal with life as it comes. You can never be too certain of what's going to happen and what's going to come from every situation, so, like I said, I never knew it would've got to this point," Chantel said.
